Volunteers' Week 2024
Our volunteers help us reach out to people across West Sussex and about their experiences of health and social care services in order that their experiences influence and help shape future plans.
If you would like to gain valuable work experience, help improve health and care services in your community or learn new skills, there are lots of ways you can be involved and make a real difference.
Whether you have a few hours to spare occasionally or you are looking for a regular commitment, we've got a volunteering opportunity for you.

What kind of roles are available?
- Visiting hospitals and health care services to assess the environment
- ‘Mystery Shopping’ health and care services
- Speaking to people in the community at events
- Interviewing or surveying people as part of research projects
- Helping to design, plan, deliver and evaluate a project
- Helping with administration and proof-reading documents to give feedback
- Representing Healthwatch West Sussex attending regular meetings
