Survey for residents with a visual or hearing impairment in West Sussex

The purpose of this survey is to find out what residents with sight or hearing impairments think about the services they receive.

This is part of a Strategic Needs Assessment for people with Sensory Impairments which is being carried out by West Sussex County Council. This is a way of assessing the current and future health, care and wellbeing needs of the local community to inform local decision-making. Having a fuller understanding of local needs and issues depends on listening to the views and experiences of residents who are living with visual and/or hearing reduction or loss.

By engaging with people, communities and service providers in this way, we hope to understand what is working well, what isn’t and identify unmet needs to inform future provision, so people can live safe and well with a hearing or visual impairment.

We are also using this as an opportunity to better understand the impact of COVID-19 in relation to sensory services for people.

Please take some time to complete this survey and share your experience and thoughts. It should take no longer than 15 minutes.

This survey is being conducted in partnership with Healthwatch. If you have questions about this survey, please either call 0300 012 0122 or email helpdesk@healthwatchwestsussex.co.uk.
