Healthwatch West Sussex launch new campaign #ConfusingComms
Today, Friday 7th May, we have launched our newest campaign, #ConfusingComms. We are aiming to help improve the way that NHS appointment communications (letters, emails and texts) are written so that they are clear, easy to understand and reassuring.
Hopefully, by improving the way these communications are written, patients will feel more confident to attend their appointments and get the help they need.
We are asking local patients in West Sussex to send us examples of their NHS letters, emails or texts that they have found confusing or unclear by using a quick and easy online form. Using these #ConfusingComms, we will highlight to the NHS where improvements could be made.
