Freshers Fairs 2024

In 2024 we doubled the engagement we achieved in the 2023 Freshers Fairs season, attending 8 fairs across 7 college sites and engaging with around 800 young people across the week.
Freshers Fairs Engagement 2024

Our aims for this year were to hear the voices and views of as many young people as possible, to encourage more young people to engage with our work by joining our Youth Network and to sign up to support our current Chlamydia Screening Project.

We exceeded our expectations with this year’s engagement and will soon be sharing a summary of the voices we heard.

Unsurprisingly, mental health concerns and access to mental health support / services is still the top priority for young people in West Sussex. We also heard that young people are keen to see improvements in GP services, Urgent Care and Sexual Health services.

Hundreds of young people have supported the first two phases of our Chlamydia Screening project, and we are currently delivering phase three. We will report on that separately, Once the project has concluded.

If you know of any young people or young people’s organisations who would like to link with our work, please get in touch
